March 2016 Programming

  • Preschool Literacy Fair – 3/5 at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Games, activities, and crafts. Each child will receive a free book! Hosted at the library by Purdue Extension and Cass Co. Extension Homemakers in conjunction with Reading Railroad.
  • Friends of the Library Mtg – 3/9 at 5:30 p.m. Join us for our first meeting of this organization. Learn more about the goals and direction of the library and how you can help.
  • St. Patrick Day craft for kids – 3/10 at 3:30 p.m. We will be making shamrock and green pasta necklaces.
  • Learn to Crochet3/11 at 1:30 p.m. Whether you want to learn or are working on a project, join us for all things crochet. Yarn will be furnished for beginners. You should purchase your own crochet hook, size G. They are available at any store in their craft department.
  • Book Club Tuesday, 3/15 at 10:30 a.m. – meetings take place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month during Coffee Time hour. Stop by the library to pick up your copy of the current read. (supplies are limited).
  • Adult Craft Project – 3/17 at 5:00 p.m. We will be making Easter wreaths. This project is for patrons over 15 years of age.
  • Scrabble Club – 3/19 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. This is our first meeting of this newly formed club. Play is free and we provide the game boards.
  • Coffee Time Tuesdays – join us each Tuesday morning at 10:30 to visit with old friends and make new ones.
  • LEGO Club – Join us each Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and play with our LEGO collection. Meet new friends for this fun and creative playtime. Children under the age of 5 must have a parent accompany them for this activity.
